About the Business
Hi, I'm Mandy O'Mahony, a Certified Play Therapist with PTUK and a huge passion for therapeutic work. I have over 20 years experience of working with children and families in a variety of roles, including teaching, family support, baby massage &yoga groups, therapeutic group work with adults and children using creative arts and play therapy. I have experience of working with children with complex additional needs, as well as looked after children, children who have experienced traumas such as neglect or bereavement and have also had amazing experiences working with children in different parts of Africa. I am a member of PTUK, listed on a register accredited by the professional standards authority http://www.playtherapyregister.org.uk and work within their ethical framework. I keep up to date with the latest research through books, articles and journals and by attending training sessions and conferences. I receive regular clinical supervision to ensure safe practice is maintained.
