About the Business
My father was a keen sportsman with chronic back and neck problems. I taught myself massage and basic herbal medicine so that I could treat him and alleviate his suffering. This ultimately paved the way for a career in complementary medicine spanning 27 years.
Katheryne initially worked as a masseuse in private practice, she went on to combine work and study at the International College of Oriental Medicine. While undertaking her training in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and after completing a further course in massage she worked in the ICOM Massage Clinic.
Katheryne studied Oriental Medicine at the International College of Oriental Medicine UK, West Sussex from 1991 to 1995, gaining a provisional Licentiate of Acupuncture in 1994, and on completion of further studies and the submission of a thesis a Full Licentiate of Acupuncture in 1995.
