About the Business
I am a member of the Aromatherapy and Allied Practitioners Association (AAPA) and my practice is governed by their professional code of conduct and I am covered by Holistic Insurance Services' professional liability and public liability insurance.
I hold a BSc (Hons) Degree in Complementary Therapies Studies from Staffordshire University and have studied Aromatherapy and Reflexology, in depth, over a 5 year period. My qualification includes, not only in-depth study of Clinical Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Massage and Clinical Reflexology, but also, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, pathology and biochemistry, management of pain, leadership and counselling skills, as well as energy, health and well-being. I carried out over 100 hours of case study treatments as part of my Degree and undertook a Clinical Placement in an NHS hospital elderly adults mental health ward, where I later became a volunteer, treating both patients and staff members.
