About the Business

When I was 18 I was in a car crash that left me with whiplash. A few years later, the changes that developed in my cervical spine (neck) caused me such great pain that I had to stop exercising and could no longer continue my desk job. Every area of my life was soon affected and the tablets the doctor prescribed were not helping. He referred me for x-rays on the NHS that (worryingly) came back normal. After 4 months of agony, he tried to prescribe me antidepressants. I knew I would not appear depressed if I was not suffering chronic pain so I opted to say no to drugs and look for help elsewhere.

I sought help from a Chiropractor who showed me on the x-rays how my spine had lost its curve and explained what effect this was having on me. She advised me to find a sports massage therapist to treat the soft tissue (muscles, tendons and ligaments) alongside her chiropractic treatments for a positive long term result.
