About the Business

Karen used her knowledge from her extensive performance career, as well as her own experience of being a Mother to create the unique baby, toddler and pre-school signing classes. These were the initial classes set up that established Musical Hands as a Business in Crawley. In 2008 she tried and tested her lesson plans on parents from West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey and Buckinghamshire to obtain feedback, to be able to offer parents in this area something new and exciting that was not then, already available for early year's children. The baby, toddler and pre-school classes incorporate music, movement and signing with extra activities being introduced as the children get older. The structure, content and style of all of Musical Hands Classes has progressed and been created around the children as Karen and her team have watched and learnt from the children's development and progression.
