I am a remedial massage and Bowen therapist based in the midlands specialising in Sports & Remedial Massage, Bowen Technique, Japanese/Shiatsu Bodywork and Onsite Seated massage.
The benefits of massage include relief of tired and aching muscles, increased flexibility, faster recovery from exercise and improved lymphatic flow and circulation. It works to support the body's own healing process which is an important factor in recovery and overall health. It is also a very effective treatment in alleviating the everyday stresses of life and inducing a calm and relaxed state.
Regular massage helps to monitor soft tissue and prevent a problem area turning into a chronic condition. This is beneficial to anyone, whether they participate in sport, have work related injuries or have general muscular aches and pains. I use both traditional and eastern massage techniques and each treatment is tailored to the individual following an initial assessment.
