About the Business
At this stage it was a small scale, very part time, mobile massage service, and in the first 9 months was very proud to have completed 33 massages. When I was growing up, I was very lucky. I had my own bedroom that, whilst I got nagged about tidying it up, was truly mine to do with as I wished. Moving the furniture around, decorating it, and more importantly who I invited in to share my space. I found I was creating a space that felt like a sanctuary. Not only for you, but for me as well. Just before Christmas, less than three months after I had moved in, my mentor came and received a massage from me at my new base and commented on how quickly I had made the transition from student to full time practitioner.
It made me realise that so many amazing massage therapists aren't as lucky - they may be brilliant at massage but the business or logistical side of things floors them, and their practice never really grows. I realised I wanted to do something a bit different. I have a dream.
