About the Business

For many years before becaming a practitioner in Complementary Medicine, I had tried various different treatments. It was Reflexology that I found the most beneficial and fascinating. It was by chance that I read a prospectus for college courses and was drawn to a two year course on Complementary Therapies for which I enrolled without delay.

My practice is based at my home in Castley, a small hamlet located between Harrogate and Otley, close to the villages of Huby and Pool in Wharfedale. I live there on a farm with my husband Ian and offspring Richard and Helen. Ian and Richard run the family farm which is dairy and beef predominately. We also have two Jacob sheep and a flock of hens which reside in the orchard. The latter causes great amusement for my clients and also nourishment as quite often a dozen eggs accompanies them on the journey home! My daughter Helen is a Montessori teacher as well as running a photography and face painting business.
