About the Business
Based in the western lake district valley of Wasdale, Cumbria, my interest in Taiji and massage has grown out of the organic development within my own lifestyle. This initially started with becoming vegetarian when still a teenager in the 1980's. By 1990 I had taken up fell walking and rock climbing, however, the major change in lifestyle came about in 1995 when I started to learn and to practice Taiji, implementing Taiji's many lessons into my daily life. Eventually teaching within Cumbria's Adult Education framework; running workshops and demonstrations for Age UK and music festivals, as well as being an Inset Provider for Cumbria Local Education Authority. Gaining my Certificate in Education in Post Compulsory Education from UCLAN along the way.
It was after the birth of my daughter in 2002 that I enrolled on a Holistic Therapies course at Carlisle College, Cumbria. Setting up my own business offering Body Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Aromatherapy to clients.
