About the Business

Since leaving school way back, I have enjoyed an interesting and varied career in Health and Fitness. I have a wide experience working with people to help them achieve their health and fitness goals and aspirations. Having trained as nurse and midwife in the 1980's the early part of my career was in the NHS where I developed my interests in orthopaedic trauma and later women's health, pregnancy and childbirth. Subsequently I developed a growing interest in a holistic approach to health and illness. Having a passion for the outdoors and sports I have vocational qulifications in fitness training and gym instruction. I am no to stranger to soft tissue injury and in 2007 I completed the London School of Sports Massage Diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage (now known as soft tissue therapy), building on my initial massage training in Swedish in the 1990s. I later attended a course in pregnancy massage with Well Mother to complement my midwifery experience and practice.
