He then went on to achieve an Honours degree in Applied Sports Therapy at Teesside University. As part of his Continual Professional Development, Russell regularly attends courses and seminars to keep up-to-date with the latest methods of treatment and rehabilitation.
Russell has 13 years experience of working in private practice, and has also spent 5 seasons in the medical departments of both Premier League and Championship Football Clubs. He is a full member of The Society of Sports Therapists, who are the leading governing body in Sports Therapy in the UK, and abides by their Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
